Bloom cowl and scarf project
It’s looks great.

I love the 3 dimensional effect created in this pattern. Even though I haven’t crocheted for a long time, I didn’t think it would be as tricky as it was. The video was a little fast with the (to me) unfamiliar joining of rounds, and I had no way of pausing or going back to particular points. I think I need to become more familiar with your techniques so that I can understand the pattern abbreviations.
I am loving this pattern. It is inspiring me to try more
I was looking for something a little out of my comfort zone but also something not to give up on and this was perfect. Had a little difficulty with a couple of interpretations and in the end resorted to doing my own thing which didn’t turn out too badly either. Would’ve loved a row-by-row video (as with the Mayan) as, being a bit of a perfectionist, I like to do things the “correct” way. This pattern has the versatility to become a lap rug or a larger throw as well as a scarf. I also used a mix of yarn (8 ply). I’d say it’s suitable for an advanced beginner/intermediate crocheter.
I am delighted reading this pattern but even though my hook is quivering other unfinished works glower at me to get them sorted asap!!
