Giantess Blanket Pattern

The Giantess Crochet Patterns are highly textured patterns made from 2 related squares and a framing border pattern. It's aimed at those who are confident with their crochet skills.

When joined, three of the small squares are the same size as two of the large, leaving creative freedom to experiment with your layout.  The border will work with the pattern regardless of the layout you choose.  

The Giantess patterns are written for a single colour, as using one colour showcases the texture of the patterns beautifully and creates a timeless result.  However, if you are inspired to experiment with colour and personalise your crochet, you are absolutely able to do so!

The pattern includes;

  • a written pattern (you choose UK or US terms),
  • charts,
  • a link to video showing all rounds, 
  • round by round photos,
  • extra help with photos for the trickier bits
  • 2 layout options with help how to plan your own layout and yardage for 3 yarn weights for each
  • Extra colour options.

Blanket size

Using 8 ply/DK/light worsted, layout 1 is 178 cm (70") square and for layout 2, 114 x 130 cm (45 x 51")

You will need

8 ply/DK light worsted, 4,750 metres for layout 1 or 2,300 metres for layout 2.

Hook: 4.5 mm for 8 ply/DK/light worsted
