Bellinghausen Granny Square Pattern

Bellinghausen is one of the 52 six-inch granny square patterns from my Siren’s Atlas collection.

The 8-page pattern includes everything you need to succeed;

  • a written pattern (you choose UK or US terms),
  • a chart,
  • round by round photos,
  • extra help for the tricky bits, and
  • a link to a private video showing how every round is made.

You will need:

Yarn: 50 metres 8 ply/DK/Light Worsted yarn
Hook: 4 mm

Named after seas and oceans of the world, Siren's Atlas takes you on a voyage around the world.

The Bellingshausen Sea is an area along the west side of the Antarctic Peninsula.

Squishy = satisfying

Clearly written pattern which is typical of all Shelley' clever work, makes a lovely squishy square i found deeply satisfying I made a blanket for a queen size bed- 100 squares plus a border. I think it's a positive testament to a pattern that even after 100 squares I was not at all weary of repeating the same stitches! I'm a fan... well done Shelley!
