Dahlia Delight Pattern

This pattern turned out to be the prototype for my Manderley Blanket pattern.  It uses the back loop only technique.  For a more seamless look, try the Manderley version.

Square size

The block measures 12″ (30 cm) when made with 10 ply/aran/worsted yarn , or 10" with 8ply/DK/light worsted yarn. 

You will need:

Yarn: 

  • 10 ply/aran/worsted, 135 metres (147 yards)
  • 8 ply/DK/light worsted, 125 metres (137 yards)

Hook: 5 mm for 10 ply/aran/worsted, 4 mm for 8ply/DK/light worsted
