Staple Poncho
These patterns are part of The Bendigo Project, 2026 and will be published on Saturday 28th of March 2026.
The theme for The Bendigo Project in 2026 is Texture & Twist, a delightful exploration of knit and crochet textured stitch patterns and cables.
The Bendigo Project Knitalong will commence on Saturday 28th of March at 7.30pm via Zoom, and will conclude with a meet up at The Australian Sheep and Wool Show, in Bendigo, Saturday July 18th 2026.
The Staple Poncho highlights the tactile surface of wool in granny square form, creating an accessory that celebrate the structure of wool. Inspired by the natural waviness of wool fibres, the Staple granny square design embraces this year’s theme of Texture & Twist.
Yarn kits are available from Louie and Lola Yarns here.
